๐ŸคŸ Privacy Policy

Deaf Pulse โ€” The social platform built for Deaf culture

This policy is a starting draft and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed by an attorney before you rely on it.

1. What We Collect

2. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We don't share it with advertisers.

3. Your Videos

When you upload a video:

4. Your DMs Are Private

Direct messages (text and video) are only visible to you and the people you send them to. We don't read your DMs unless someone reports a message for violating our guidelines โ€” and even then, we only look at what's reported.

5. Where Your Data Lives

Deaf Pulse uses Supabase as its backend. Your account data, posts, and messages are stored on Supabase's secure servers. Supabase processes data on our behalf under its own privacy commitments.

6. Kids and COPPA

Deaf Pulse is for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that someone under 13 has created an account, we'll delete it.

Parents: if you believe your child under 13 has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account promptly.

7. Data Retention

8. Your Rights

You can:

Email DeafWork2026@gmail.com for any of these.

9. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure password storage, and access controls. No system is perfect, but we take your privacy seriously โ€” especially on a platform built for our community.

10. Changes

If we change this policy significantly, we'll notify you on the platform. Continued use means you accept the changes.
